A total of 1,548 notices were mailed February 3, 2012 which represents 25 per cent of the total number of Ohio permit holders renewing.  The e-mail or postmark deadline for compliance with the 2011 verification process will be March 30, 2012.  Licensees selected for verification may e-mail the documents to Robert Joseph.  PDF format is preferred.

You may use the continuing education report as a guide in summarizing your continuing education credits.

The results near the end of the final week of continuing education verification show a total of 1,435 licensees (92.7%) completed the continuing education verification requirement.  An additional 55 licensees are still being reviewed, resulting in 58 licensees who have not yet sent in any documentation.

NOTE: Persons selected for CPE verification who cannot verify 120 credits would need to complete additional verified credits.  A late filing fee is due for these additional credits, calculated as of the date the 120th credit is earned.  See the late filing fee chart link for details.

Most licensees are required to verify 120 credits for the three-year reporting period January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2011.  New licensees need only verify 40 credits for the two-year reporting period January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011.
