ONLINE LICENSE RENEWAL
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS
PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS

Online renewal for certified public accountants and public accountants whose licenses expire December 31, 2009 will be available through January 4, 2010. Please consult the links at the left for further information.

The renewal fee is $150 for individuals who hold the Ohio permit and $55 for individuals who hold the Ohio registration. There is no fee for CPAs who are renewing their "out of state" license status with the Board.

You may renew your public accounting firm's registration at the Ohio License Center. Select the "License Renewal" link and the "Login" button to enter your firm's User ID and Password. Follow the prompts on the pages to renew your firm's registration. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover/JCB/Novus, and American Express credit cards. We cannot accept debit cards.

Beginning January 5, 2010, online renewal for certified public accountants and public accountants will close and late fees will be applicable. Consult the individual late fee chart link to see the late fees. A CPA and PA who renews the Ohio permit after the deadline will need to provide the Board documentation of all continuing education credit claimed for license renewal.
